Pause for Play

When Red Leaf owners Melissa and Ray were visiting other coffee shops, they noticed that while they were enjoying the atmosphere, their daughters were bored more often than not. And after one of the girls nearly fell off a tall stool to a concrete floor, they decided something needed to be done as they planned Red Leaf’s Kelso location. Melissa and Ray wanted Red Leaf to be a family friendly environment, a place that would appeal to families like theirs. In their Kelso location they have done just that by creating a space specifically for kids.

Not many coffee shops have space to accommodate kids so completely. The play room is one of Red Leaf’s most distinguishing features, setting it apart from many of its competitors. Parents can take a pause from the day as the kids play. Red Leaf’s play room was designed and furnished with kids in mind. Complete with a climbing structure and a variety of toys and tables, the play room has a ton of fun to offer. It also provides a safe place for kids to play while parents relax and enjoy their coffee.

But what about the other Red Leaf patrons, just looking for a quiet cup of their favorite Red Leaf special? Even though the play room is set inside Red Leaf, sound-proofed walls ensure that other patrons looking for a quiet place to chat, read or surf the Internet, won’t be disturbed by the noise of the play room. For families visiting Red Leaf, the normally boring coffee stop just became fun!
